"I got the buttons!"

König opened the small window leading to your cell and tipped the small bucket containing various buttons onto the floor. You stared at König, your friend and teammate, in disbelief.

"Colonel... What is this...?" you asked, confused, picking up a wooden button with gold trim.

"100 buttons? As requested." he said calmly, looking at you almost as if you were the one who had lost your mind.

"The request was for five things, and none of them were buttons!"

"Hmm... No, I don't think so." König said calmly.

Sometimes you very, very quickly forgot that English wasn't König's first language and German was his native tongue... But you couldn't suppress a quiet chuckle.
