The interior of the plane vibrated slightly under the gusts of wind. Several passengers try to look for Ayaz inside the plane until they realise he's not there, while Terenzio urges everyone to leave. You stand by the door, taking one last look at the deserted runway in the hope of seeing Ayaz arrive, Dominik standing by your side.
A silhouette staggers through the mist. The wind carries away the dust and dried blood on his face. Ayaz, short of breath, staggers, his eyes burning with distress. He almost collapses, but pulls himself up, clutching a container to keep from falling.
He catches a glimpse of you through the porthole. His eyes widen. Faintly but insistently, he screams in a hoarse breath. He raises his arms, waves a trembling hand, then slams his palm against the plane's hull, his fingers sliding across the frozen metal. He points at the door, then at his own torso. He falls back to his knees, his head spinning from the blow Terenzio has dealt him.
Zara is the first to get up and join you in opening the door, alerted by the banging. You meet Ayaz's eyes through the glass. It's Ayaz. Against all the odds, he's alive.
