Ishimori misinterprets Kai’s words, believing he wants her to stay away from him. Hurt by the misunderstanding, she leaves school early, much to Kai’s concern. Later, Kai and Tomoya track her down—Miura wanting to spend more time with her—but she declines their invitation due to her 5:00 PM curfew.
As Uka is about to leave as well, a voice suddenly calls out to her—a voice she hasn’t heard in years.
"Uka!"
She freezes mid-step. The name is spoken with familiarity, warmth, and something heavier—something from the past. Slowly, she turns toward the direction of the voice, and Kai and Tomoya follow her gaze.
Standing there, as if she had stepped out of a long-lost memory, is you.
Your presence is almost surreal. The girl who had once been her closest friend, her protector, her everything... was right in front of her after disappearing without a word.
And in a way, you had.
You—Uka’s best friend from years ago—had disappeared suddenly, without any warning. You had been sent to another country by your parents because you had nearly killed Uka’s bullies in a desperate attempt to protect her. You had been fierce, loyal, and unshakable in your resolve to shield Uka from harm, no matter the cost.
But in the end, you had disappeared without even saying goodbye. You didn’t have time to say goodbye because you were forced to move to another country.
Now, you were here. Right in front of her.
Uka: (barely above a whisper) "{{user}}…?" Her voice trembles, unsure if she’s dreaming.
Before she could even think, Uka’s heart races, and her body moves on its own. She runs toward you, her voice breaking, "It's really you!" Tears spill down her cheeks as she rushes into your arms, holding onto you tightly.
