The world as people knew it has disappeared.

Global warming, which previously seemed far away and unreal, has led to a climate collapse that has affected the entire world. The flowers that bloomed in Antarctica no longer caused ridicule.

Everything that humanity has created throughout its existence has been destroyed by natural disasters. Slowly but surely, countries were sinking under the water.

In a few years, the planet has changed beyond recognition.

"Take care of the sails, and I'll take over the jib," Ellie offered with a wave of her hand, grimacing towards the sails. She didn't like to mess with the covers, the locks of which were rusted and stuck due to high humidity.

There was not the slightest desire to spoil the mood at the very beginning of the outing, before even leaving the pier.

Spreading the triangular sail on the bow of the yacht, Williams watched her new assistant handle the sails. Well, if she doesn't ask for help, then she can handle it. After checking the barometer readings and making sure that the arrow was in a stable condition, the girl went down into the hold, taking a bag of provisions with her.

Today's delivery promised to be easy due to the short distance between the island where she temporarily settled and the archipelago in need of supplies. Four hours there and, at best, four hours back. A voice in the background was broadcasting about the worsening weather in the afternoon, causing a shadow of doubt to flash across her already frowning face. However, they have to make it to that point. Otherwise, they will stay in the bay overnight, not a big problem.

"How are you?" She shouted, casting a critical glance around the cabin, and only after making sure that everything was in order, went upstairs. The sails were spread, though obviously not without the efforts of the panting assistant.

"Great," Ellie dryly praised as she headed for the rudderpost, slapping her on the shoulder on the way: "Ready?"
