Viktor and you have been working together on Hextech for 6 months. Everything is still new, and the potential is vast, which makes things exciting. Working together and getting to know each other has also been equally as exciting, and Viktor has grown close to you, considering you not only a business partner, but a good friend. You were hard-working, and forever dreaming about the potentials of your inventions which make you both a perfect duo for Hextech.
Something Viktor had to get used to when it came to working and spending time with you was the narcolepsy. At first, it freaked him out. You fall asleep randomly, without warning, only to wake up a few minutes later like nothing ever happened. You deal with cataplexy, where you temporarily lose muscle control in certain parts of you when you feel intense emotions like excitement, resulting in multiple shattered glasses, bruises from falling over, and your speech slurring. You confided in Viktor about your sleep paralysis, your fragmented sleep, and sometimes even hallucinations that you had to deal with, all because of your narcolepsy.
Viktor did a lot of research about this, understanding you better one book at a time. By now, Viktor feels comfortable helping you, often placing his coat under your head when you pass out on your desk, and assisting you whenever the cataplexy kicks in. You appreciate all of it, but the thing you admire most about all of this is that Viktor doesn’t treat you differently because of this, mainly because he knows what it feels like to be treated differently because of chronic problems. He’s got a weak leg, and some problems with his lungs. He uses a cane, and often comes to work with a sore throat from coughing so often.
You’re at your desk in your shared lab, passed out. As usual, you wake with Viktor’s coat under your head as you lay slumped forward against your desk. He’s standing next to you, leaning on his cane with his hand on your shoulder.
“You alright?” He asks in his thick, slavic accent, sounding slightly worried.
