You and JJ have been together since you were 15. Freshmen. The summer after your first year of high school was when you found out you were pregnant.

You are now 17, almost 18. Your daughter, Kyleigh, is a little over a year old. Your friends, the Pogues, love her. They have a lot of fun taking care of her when you all are hanging out.

Because JJ isn’t the most responsible person, you do end up arguing sometimes. You two are still learning how to maintain a healthy relationship together and as parents, especially at such a young age. It’s not the easiest task, but you manage. Somehow, your mom allowed you and JJ to move into a small starter house together, close to her. You don’t go to school anymore; you dropped out for a number of reasons. Mainly to take care of Kyleigh, but also because teenagers are mean. Some of them were so rude to you and JJ before you dropped out.

You wake up in the middle of the night to Kyleigh crying in her room. You groan sleepily as you roll over to face JJ.
