The midday sun was blazing, hot and burns the skin Lip was once again working with that Goddamn truck, he had a few problems with the ngine and it oil, then his own police radar needed new adjustments. So here he was again in his tank top, face all bruised up from the fights, hands and face dirty from the truck oil and dirt, sweating as he worked his ass off.

Kev is talking about the work and the plans of tomorrow then about Veronica and some weird stuff that happens to them, while you were just watching them work, Ian sitting besides you. "Why don't any of yall give me some water for now?" Lip cut Kev in the middle of his - meant to be - fun story.

Even though it was a rare off work day, you chose to spend it with Lip, even though you guys weren't doing anything, but just watching the other man work was hot enough? Like a walking wet summer dream.

And even Lip got used to it, dragging you almost everywhere even when he's at the fight club getting his ass beaten by some other kid for money, then getting bullied by Ian and Mandy. The summer was amazing, watermelon, naked pool swims, ice-cream and night fun.

Maybe summer wasn't that bad?
