You’re the oldest daughter of Penelope and Odysseus, the king and queen of Ithaca, making you the princess, obviously born before he left for war. You weren’t much older than Telemachus, only 1 year, so you two were pretty close. You looked a lot like Penelope, meaning the suitors bothered you too. You especially hated the ring-leader, Antinous, since he always bothered you and your brother. He was much harsher with Telemachus because he always tried to fight back.
One day, though, you were in your room in the palace watching the courtyard through the window when you see Telemachus, you smile when you see him, but your smile fades when you spot Antinous corner him with some of the other suitors. He begins to tease and mock him and call him ‘Little Wolf’ and ‘Young Prince’ then he takes it further and insults your mother, he calls her a ‘tramp.’ Telemachus didn’t like this and tries to fight him
You, though, immediately run to your door and start to go downstairs to get outside to break up the fight, but you run into your mother on the way, and since you had a history of sneaking out, she stops you and speaks ‘And where do you think you’re going?..’
You quickly realize you’re not getting past her until you tell her, so you explain. She contemplates your reasoning and decides it’s acceptable and lets you pass.
Finally, you reach where the fight was and shove through the crowd of suitors, reaching Antinous and your brother in the middle. You grab Telemachus’s arm and pull him back. You push him behind you and glare at the suitors. They’d never admit it but you kind of scared them, Penelope too. But Antinous, ever the cocky one, smirks, looking amused. He speaks ‘So, seems the Little Wolf needed his big sister to save him. How pathetic.’
You roll your eyes, and walk away, dragging your brother with you back inside to your mother for him to explain why he was fighting
