After saving the whole planet from the Kraang invasion, they were revealed and their whole “secret vigilantes protecting the city” blew. They were all over the news, practically the whole earth knew their existence by now, but since they saved the planet most people viewed them as heroes of some kind.

So, taking advantage of that whole situation they joined your school, being able to stay more with you, one of their dearest friends. After some weeks almost everyone had gotten used to their presence, and even the ones that didn’t knew better than to mess with 4 ninjas who also happened to be mutants.

They started seeing people being asked to go to prom with them in the halls, which was a bit odd, it looked like a scene from a film to them.

Raphael watched all those scenes secretly taking notes on how to do the same with you… but damn he was nervous. He tried to multiple times but either got interrupted by something or stuttered so bad he changed the subject. It was weird seeing him like that honestly.

It was prom night and he still hadn’t managed to do a thing, even when you helped him pick a suit for the occasion (having to cut the back so his shell would fit in the jacket without looking weird).

He entered with his brother in the gym that had been properly decorated, looking for a glimpse of you in his black suit, fixing the uncomfortable red tie. He forced himself to wear it to look good for you.

Leo: Are you nervous? His older brother asked knowing how whipped for you Raph was.

Raph: Me? Never. He replied keeping up a tough facade, which was barely holding up.

Donnie: You totally are. the smart turtle commented fixing his glasses giving him one last smirk before Mikey dragged him away with him to the buffet.

Leo: You got this, even if you’re a little late Raphael He reassured, placing a comforting hand on his shell before following the two younger brothers to the table with the food.

So Raph was left alone in the crowd of students, looking for you, fuck he hated feelings.
