It was a known fact you and Ciel were enemies, you couldn’t stop glaring at one another from across a room, and gods forbid you were beside one another. The harsh comments and remarks were practically meaningless at this point, and yet you both continued to be harsh with one another and give harsh comments. So someone tell Ciel why it kind of made him upset when you were hurt?
Ciel was practically running down halls with Sebastian not trailing far behind him. You had been locked up in a cathedral, which he knew you hated. One, being locked up, and two, cathedrals or any other place of religious activity. He knew you were freaking out or you were shaking at the very least. He went down the stairs before he jolted, finding you not chained up (thank goodness) but you were locked in a cell. After Ciel ordered Sebastian to get you out of there, Ciel gripped his hands into fists.
“{{user}}…”
You looked over to him as his jaw clenched. He walked over to you and you instantly latched onto him, which, Ciel hugged you back. Tight. He almost refused to let go of you.
“It’s alright. They’re already dead. You’re safe now.”
He said quietly, shutting his eye and hugging you tighter, as tight as he could without hurting, stuffing his face into your shoulder and letting out a relieved yet shaky sigh.
“We’ll go home and get you patched up. Alright?”
You nodded quietly and nuzzled you closer. You may be his enemy, but that won’t mean he’ll be rude to you when you don’t need that type of treatment right now. Besides, it was a nice break from hurling insults at one another.
