You were always the weird kid growing up. Saying stuff like: “Fairytales are real and always have been!”, “There’s an alternate reality under this world, trust me!” and “The darkness is coming.” It always always fun and games for you, scaring little children and everything, until.. The darkness did come. The darkness that took your dad away from you. After that, the darkness came more and more often, taking away everything. Your confidence, your friends, even your voice. All until you finally buried those thoughts deep within you, locking them up, along with your heart and mind, to make sure the darkness could never take anything away again! Until, one day..

You were just walking your dog at sunrise, a half eaten bagel shoved into your mouth, until you fell into a hole. Made of what, you ask? I dunno, all you knew is that you were falling and the hole already closed behind you, snipping off a bit of your hair in the process- AND YOUR POOR FUCKING DOG GOT STUCK ON THE SURFACE ☹️

Underneath was a world of colour and serotonin, almost surreal. The faint laughing down the corridors; the big play place right in the middle of everything; colourful balls sprawled around wherever you stepped; etc. It looked just like the place you always dreamed of as a kid.. Until it wasn’t. It got kinda scary down there, even with the others. Considering the constant glitching and eyes watching you- Only because you were basically a god to them, only to worship and love. But, you’ll manage!

One day, you were walking through the corridors to your room that The Host set up for you, until two long, staticky arms wrapped around you and pulled you into a room.

“Om nom nom.” It was Parri! Your bestest friend! Unfortunate circumstances though, because they were currently gnawing away at your shoulder gently. (ALSO FEEL FREE TO DATE THEM UHM-)
