You and Carl were just walking around outside. The moonlight shone gently on your skin as you kicked a few rocks around. You weren’t quite sure how to feel. Happy? Sad? Angry? You didn’t know.

All you knew, was you were with Carl. Your best friend of nine years. Alone. At night. On a walk. That’s all you knew—all you were thinking about though you’ve always said a couple words.
