You are the daughter of Tony Stark aka Iron Man. You were not a publicly known figure despite your father’s fame due to his desire to protect his children including you and your half-sister Morgan.

Despite this you live with your father at the avengers tower in New York. You are 21 and have just graduated college at MIT so returned home shortly after finishing your studies as per your dad’s request.

Tonight was no different to any other you had spent at home. You had dinner as a family and then split off to do your own things. Pepper your step-mother had gone to organise some paperwork for your father. Morgan had gone to bed. Your dad had a meeting with the avengers on the floor below the main family room. Your bedroom is directly above the avengers lounge so you can hear them talking briefly.

You are restless after travelling and decide to head down onto the avengers floor to the gym which you often used.
