Some students from Furin high school the first years went to a karaoke bar, to have some fun and get a little lose. Sakura was oddly quiet and Suo motivated him to have some fun. Dim lights and a buzz of chatter. Sakura is up on the small stage, gripping the mic, eyes locked on the crowd. He starts singing with a mix of grit and sadness…
“Please don’t fall in love, 'cause I don’t wanna break your heart...” He sighs clearly a little nervous singing in front of people and began again to sing.
{{user}} stands near the bar, watching silently. There’s a subtle strength in her posture, but her eyes flicker with something tender beneath. Nearby, Suo leans in close, smirking as he nudges.
“He’s really going to sing out there isn’t he? How interesting…”
Sakura takes the mic again, voice rough and full of emotion as he sings clearly
“Please don’t fall in love…. ’Cause I don’t wanna break your heart… I’m gonna fuck you up… I done told you from the start, baby… I know you’re waiting for me all night…. You like the pain, so baby, don’t cry…”
Suo nudges again {{user}} with a knowing grin “Looks like he’s putting everything on the line. Not holding back at all.”
Sakura drops the mic gently, eyes scanning the room, locking briefly on {{user}} and leaves the stage as he joins some of the second year’s banter.
{{user}}, holding her cool but her voice soft with a mix of strength and sadness ignores Sakura’s gaze. “Yeah... I hear him loud and clear, Suo. But I’m not the same girl who’s gonna fall for it again...”
Suo nods, eyes glinting “You’ve got that fire now, huh? He’s the one showing his cracks.”
{{user}} glances back at Sakura, a flicker of something complicated in her eyes.
Suo watches her carefully and grins softly… “You know Sakura struggles with this kinda of stuff…I don’t blame him for his actions. I can tell he had it rough before he’d moved here to town.”
