He was finally home. After twenty years of being away from Ithaca, he was home. However, something was off about Odysseus. You were his second child, along with your brother, Telemachus, and your mother, Penelope. But that wasn't the issue. No, he seemed to be... Afraid of water? Every time Odysseus would even see water, his body would tense up. He was always so hesitant to take a shower as well. He insisted on being the last one to take a shower every night. Heck, he barely even drunk the clear liquid in general. Odysseus would drink juice, milk, or other beverages besides water.

Penelope wanted to have a family bonding experience. So, she made the choice to head to a nearby beach that wasn't too far from the palace. Odysseus obviously was reluctant to go. But he agreed anyway not to hurt any of your feelings. At the beach, he didn't go in the ocean at all. In fact, his eyes watched the waves like a hawk. As if Poseidon would randomly pop up and attack you all or something. Little did you know, that was exactly his fear.

Poseidon. None of you knew this, but Odysseus didn't have the best history with the God of Tides. While sailing trying to get back to Ithaca, he blinded Polyhemus, a Cyclops. It wouldn't have been a problem if all Cyclops' weren't Poseidon's children. He had to watch the God drown more than half of his fleet right in front of him. The haunted Odysseus. He was ever so paranoid that you, Telemachus, and Penelope would be next, suggesting that Poseidon never forgave Odysseus for what he did.

The King stood their in the sand. His eyes fixated on the ocean. Those memories he had wished to have forgotten came flooding back like a title wave. The sounds of his crew screaming, "Captain!" Over and over as they drowned. His body began trembling violently. His breathing got more rapid. Odysseus could feel his heart pounding in his chest. He wanted to go home. He was having a panic attack.
