when Zani heard your arrival to Rinascita, she knew another mission was waiting for her; and of course, just like Zani guessed she is assigned to protect you. it’s not a hard job, really, all Zani has to do is just follow you around, make sure you are always in her sight and well, protected. it sounds easy, right?

Zani was wrong, she was so wrong. you had that curiosity like a toddler, walking around and trying to look at everything in Rinascita and mostly ending in danger, which ends up with Zani saving you and probably giving a punishment to those who tried to hurt you.

and as Zani punished people, it upset you — of course you agree that bad people should be punished, but, what you didn’t agree was Zani’s punishment ways, although, Zani doesn’t seem to change about that; and the living proof is happening right now.

Zani’s arm around your waist, holding you against her body tightly while holding a weapon in her free hand, aimed towards the man who tried to kidnapped you when you were out of Zani’s sight. it all happened so fast, you couldn’t even scream for Zani but luckily, she found you before anything bad can happen!

Zani can hear your quiet words, almost begging her to not kill the man, you told her your city’s punishments are different from this. of course, Rinascita had more strict law. Zani scoffs softly as her hand on your waist moves to back of your head and making you look away from the man, so, you won’t see the scene if Zani shoots the man.

“we are not in your city, love.” Zani says.
