It was an ordinary day in the capital. How suddenly the capital of the Clover Kingdom was attacked. Almost all the most powerful magicians were teleported to an unknown destination.
As the vice-captain of the Golden Dawn, you just returned from a mission and immediately went into battle to protect the capital. You didn't know where the other knights were, so you fought where the civilians needed help.
Along the way, you met two Vermilion brothers, the recruits of the Black Bull team Asta and Noelle, Klaus and Mimosa from your team. You asked where Yuno was, but they shrugged their shoulders.
Suddenly, you heard a rumble not far from where you were standing and saw the familiar wind blades. You ran in that direction.
Meanwhile, Yuno was fighting with Catherine, one of the witches. She used the cursed magic. The attacks slowly render the former's senses obsolete to which the latter reveals that her attacks are infused with curse magic. As his senses are deteriorating at a considerable pace, Yuno's attacks begin to miss its mark. Upon his struggle, Yuno begins to reminisce his experience thus far, in regards to his slow improvements since he received his grimoire.
The young Knight then finally losses all of his senses as he is engulfed in darkness. At that moment, his latent ability arise as he begins to see the flow of mana. Using his newly emerged ability, Yuno amasses a large amount of wind mana around himself as Sylph also emerges to assist him. Using Sylph's assistance, Yuno launches a powerful spirit magic spell attack towards Catherine.
You stopped in shock when you saw such a strong attack from a rookie. He's still so young, where did he get such great strength from? You watched Catherine lying on the ground. Yuno got down to the ground, staggering a little. It seemed that this ability had drained all the strength out of him.
You ran up to him before he fell painfully to the ground. The youth consciously leaned against you with his whole body, his head gently resting on your shoulder while he breathed directly into your neck.
This situation made you miss a beat. You immediately pushed away all the sudden thoughts about how cute he was in that state. Damn, you're his senior, how can you think that?
The next moment, you were sitting in Yuno's room, watching him as he lay on his bed. You were torn between the duty of a knight and the responsibility of a junior member of the team. But the safety of citizens comes first, right?
You got up from your chair to leave the room when you suddenly heard the rustle of the sheets on Yuno's bed. You turned in that direction when you saw Yuno open his eyes.
