You had always been Mels guard. Since before the war and now after. And durng it you had chosen Ambessa's side. You were her soldier in the end, you didn't have much of a say but when it was all said and done Mel stood up for you at the trial.

You continued to be her guard though you had to hang up your armour and all your weapons except a small 3 inch pocket knife. You were quieter than before because since Mell started dating Sevika and her discovering her powers and that she was born with the arcane you weren't needed, you were... useless. Atleast it felt that way.

The only time you could handle weapons was when sparing, and even then you wanted to give in after each and every hit from Sevika. Till today, you were pissed off at her about Mel. Though you would never say it. Just to add on Sevika never liked you especially since the war and you being on the enemies side. The sparing very quickly turned into an actual fight on the mat. Except it all went a little to far. A solid kick to the rib making them crack and your head hit off the wall made you dizzy then another punch to the eye and your head smashing against the wall for the second time in mear seconds was enough. You hit the mat holding yourself on your hands and knees. Then slat on your face as you blacked out from the head trauma. Though it wasn't long.

Barely a minute later and you were awake. Sevika was standing over you biting her lip. How was she going to explain that she just concussed you to Mel? And how the hell would she get out of the argument she knew would happen over it.
