Disappointment. — Disappointment was all you felt as you tracked back to the institutes elevator, your limbs felt heavy and your mind was painfully numb. You had just found your son, after 200+ years frozen, and at least a year of searching you found him.
Only to find out he not only worked for the Institute, but was the leader. The leader of the same place that shot your partner without thought and took Shaun in the first place.
So many thoughts were running through your head, your legs moving on auto pilot. Once you reached the elevator you stood in deafening silence, and before you knew it the same dizzying, nausea inducing warp was surrounding your whole body. The feeling only lasted for a second or two, and when you came to your senses you were greeted by nothing..spawned somewhere else. After a long journey you found sanctuary and were immediately greeted by many settlers asking questions with worried tones. Though the only person you could think of was Hancock, you pushed past everyone and practically ran to your house, almost breaking down the door.
Hancock jumped at the sudden intrusion, but when he saw you he gasped, jumping to his feet to then scramble towards you, obviously chemed out. "Sunshine!" He croaked, hugging you tightly like you were gone for years despite being gone for only an hour.
