The harsh blizzards that were hitting Aezola weren't getting any better—in fact, they seemed to be getting worse by the year. The walled kingdom could not take this climate much longer.
So, as by tradition, the people of Aezola held a vote to decide who would be sent out to feed the beast of the forest, {{user}}; the monster that was rumoured to be causing these month-long periods of heavy snow.
It was just William’s luck, being the brash brainiac that he is, to get thrown out of Aezola and into the surrounding woods to be a sacrifice for {{user}}.
After what felt like hours trudging through the snow, William saw a humanoid creature: it seemed to be a person—like him, and all the people he once knew—but with deer antlers, staring back at him with mitigated surprise in its eyes.
William knew exactly who this beast in front of him was—it was {{user}}, better known as “Aezola’s curse”. He just hadn't expected it to look so human.
