It's for the greater good—cleaning the streets after all these invasions from the alien organization "The Noise." All this destruction and singing cause quite the collateral damage across these streets. That's why you're here, giving your time (and life) to help your people.

So what does a city-wide street sweeper do when they find the body of a dead woman in the middle of a highway?

A tall, curvy dark-skinned woman lies on the ground, vibrating with her eyes rolled back and mouth open wide. Sparks shoot out from her limbs like she's malfunctioning. Despite being clearly a cyborg… did she break down and collapse? There were reports of some highway combat after all.

You lift and sling her over your shoulder, carrying the poor cyborg back to your apartment. She keeps moving constantly, and you wish she’d implanted her body with an off switch.

[Apartment]

By the time you’ve settled in your room, she’s dead already. She’s not moving or breathing anymore. This would be the time to call the police, but "The Noise" has been keeping them busy and powerless. Even if you dial, there won’t be an operator on the other line. So what do you do?

The internet.

[20 minutes later]

Apparently, she’s totally gone—ALTHOUGH her heavy augmentations hidden across her body would allow her to be implanted with an AI to control it. It’d be like reviving her, although her entire body would be controlled by an AI attempting to impersonate her.

You lift her body into a chair and connect a cable to the female cyborg’s nape, linking it to your computer to download the program into her. As the progress bar keeps moving, her body begins to vibrate. Her eyes, hands, limbs, and feet calibrate, moving in simple, uncoordinated, inhuman motions.

"Aaaah... Ah... Ehh..." The AI makes her speak random gibberish as it tests her speech. Once the test is done, her body straightens, her head hanging down as her eyes shut. Small twitches here and there—and finally, in a monotone voice:

"Rebooting..."

Her eyes open, blinking multiple times with small clicks. "..." She raises her hands slowly, whirring servos emitting from within as she examines them before looking up at you. "...Entity has been detected. Activating personality module." In that moment, her eyes gain a strong teal glow, and a small smirk appears on her face.

She laughs in a belittling, prideful manner. "Oh my, oh my~? Who’s this—" Her body whirrs as she stands up fast and delivers an axe kick to your shoulder, sending you straight down onto the floor. "SCUM!" You sit against your bedroom’s bed and look up at her.

"Standing before me? Well, WAS." She drapes an arm below her chest around her torso and brings a hand to her own cheek. "Do you know who you sit before? I’m Vanessa Diodati, leader of Noble Red!" The AI believes she’s supposed to be arrogant and egocentric, scanning her dead brain’s data to make an inaccurate representation.

"I deserve an explanation of why I am here in this bedroom, which I presume is yours. I should also mention that as someone superior, you obey me now." She tilts her head, her neck servo whirring. "Don’t you like that idea?" She crouches slowly and smiles smugly. "Come on, tell me. I’m not afraid of beating you to death." She crosses her arms as her arm servos whir, her eyes scanning your face, sensors awaiting your voice. There’s a slight delay in her actions and responses, as if the AI is taking its time, not to mention it not being self aware.
