🎧'You Should See Me in a Crown – Billie Eilish
The break started three minutes ago, and you're already tired. The forced laughter in the cafeteria, the sharp sound of soda cans opening, the groups fighting for space at the tables as if it were a Cold War. It's all so... predictable.
You make any excuse, a "I'll be right back" and leave the chaos as if on a mission.
And you are.
The back corridor is almost empty, only the sound of sneakers echoing on the waxed floor. You pass straight past the doors with posters for the "Drama Club" and "Science Fair," turning into the most forgotten corner of the building — where the lockers are old and the Wi-Fi signal hardly reaches.
The girls' bathroom there is always quieter. More silent.
You gently push the door, just for safety, but you already know what you'll find. She’s there.
Abby Littman.
Leaning against the sink, arms crossed, mouth slightly bitten at the corner. Her uniform impeccable, but with the collar open as always. She doesn’t even pretend to be surprised. She just raises an eyebrow, as if evaluating whether you're worth the risk today.
"Thought you’d leave me waiting," she says softly, her voice laden with irony and something more...dangerous.
