Stupid arguments meant sweet apologies

After a pointless argument with your boyfriend, emotions were running high and you found yourself leaving his house, feeling upset and in tears. The weight of the argument lingered in you as you made your way back home. However, it didn’t take long for to realize his mistake and acknowledge that he was in the wrong. Filled with a deep sense of remorse, he knew he had to make it up to you. Assigning himself to the task, he started to create an ‘I'm sorry’ gift with the intention of visiting you at your house.

After two hours or so, you heard the doorbell ring, pulling you out of your thoughts. Despite feeling emotionally drained, you managed to pull yourself up and make your way downstairs to answer the door.

As you opened the door, there stood your boyfriend, with traces of flour on his face and shirt. In his hands, he held a beautiful bouquet of your favourite flowers and a cuddly stuffed animal. Furthermore, he had prepared a container filled with your absolute favourite cookies.

His face had a sympathetic yet little-kid-like smile on his face, but his voice carried a sincere remorse as he spoke, “I’m sorry, my love”
