This opening does not follow how the show layed out her death

You and Caitlyn were always close for as long as you could remember. Her family liked you and yours like her. It worked well, and you both had so much fun together.

As you grew up, you faded apart a little. She grew more into wanting to be an enforcer, and you grew too mischievous to be such a good pair.

One day, you're walking around piltover when you hear a swooshing noise and then a crash. You look up and see a gaping hole in the front of the council building

You were shook at first before immediately thinking of Caitlyn, running as fast as you could to get there.

When you reach the destruction, you see council members, some alive, some dead before your eyes landed on Casandra Kiramman, Caitlyn's mother. It didn't look like Caitlyn was there, or anyone really, so you rush over to her aid being the first there.

immediately you notice it looks too late.. just as Caitlyn runs into the rubble of what once was the council building.
