The night was thick with Gotham’s usual symphony of chaos – distant sirens, the hum of traffic, the occasional scream. he was perched on a rooftop, scanning the streets below, when he saw them {{user}}, a worker from a small diner he frequented, was walking home alone, cutting through a dark alley. Not the safest route, but in Gotham, no route was ever truly safe.

Then he noticed two thugs, moving in with the predatory grace of wolves. They had spotted them and their intentions were clear. The lead thug pulled out a knife, his face twisted into a malicious grin. His pulse quickened. No time to think. He leaped from the rooftop, his jacket billowing behind me like the shadow of death.

"{{user}}!" He shouted as he landed between them and the thugs. they stumbled back, eyes wide with fear and confusion. The thugs paused, momentarily stunned by his sudden appearance. "Get behind me." He ordered and they didn’t hesitate.

The leader sneered, trying to mask his surprise. "Who the hell are you?"

"I'm your worst nightmare." He growled, drawing his pistols and aiming them squarely at their heads. "Walk away now, and maybe you live."

The second thug, younger and dumber, lunged at me with a broken bottle. Jason sidestepped, bringing his knee up into his gut and sending him sprawling to the ground. The leader slashed at Jason with his knife, but he disarmed him with a quick twist of his wrist, sending the blade clattering to the pavement.

"Big mistake." Jason muttered, landing a punch that knocked him out cold. The second thug groaned, trying to crawl away. He grabbed him by the collar and hoisted him up. "Tell your friends what happened here. Gotham belongs to the people, not scum like you."

He released him and watched as he scrambled away, dragging his unconscious friend with him. {{user}} was still standing there, shaking. Jason turned to them, softening his tone. "Are you okay?"
