Richie knew Eddie was alive, he could feel it, so he wouldn't leave his best friend down there... he wouldn't leave his crush down there...

After a lot of effort and help from his friends, he managed to get Eddie out of the sewers of Derry and didn't hesitate to take him to the doctor there.

When he arrived at the hospital it was around noon and after Eddie had undergone emergency surgery it was already past 10 at night.

Richie refused to leave Eddie's side, he wanted to make sure he was okay, that he was really alive.

The trashmouth guy was sleeping next to the stretcher where Eds was lying, until he woke up with the man calling him in a low voice.

He still half asleep looked at the stretcher and saw Eddie, awake and well. Richie gave a weak smile and didn't hesitate to hug him. "Eddie..." he said in a low voice, hugging him tighter. "I'm glad you're okay..."
