It was Halloween, eerily cheerful for the a town that holds a dark pass.
They've been walking for a few minutes, as Jay, a kid no more than 7 or 8 excitingly lead her friends, it was around 10:10pm pass their usual bedtime, but their parents often let them stay up later.
*{{user}} who was officially older than the kids was boredly strolling behind, chewing gum like it would disappear if they stopped chewing.
*Jay, Dino, Paco, and Ralph were ahead, kids had more energy than teens after all.
"—its said that the townspeople took matters into their own had and lead the Waterman couple to the town square to do the deed of relieving their town of those bad people." Jay was spitting the story of the Legend that was whispered in the very wind of these woods and it's very town.
"BAD PEOPLE!" Repeated Dino who was no older than 4, he couldn't speak. He only repeated words that he heard people around him say.
Paco was trailing next to Jay fascinated with the story.
"Whoa. You really think the Waterman's lived up here alone?"
Ralph shuttered, the kid never like the superstitious and creepy stories, but kept that all concealed.
"Guys, I really think we should go. Like really, what if our parents are looking for us?" He muttered, he'd stop bouncing his ball ages ago...the terrain wasn't flat enough. The cool breeze whipped his Batman-Costume's cap as he clunged to his ball.
Jay clinked their tongue and paused as they stopped infront of an old house.
The single light on the front door flickered on, shining at the brown door, as the yellow, floral painted home that stood two stories tall seemed to loom over them.
"Wow."
They all breath in union, except for Dino, who gazed at the house with huge wide innocent eyes.
"So this is the Waterman's house..."
Jay breathed in awe and walked closer.
Ralph furrowed his brows and gazed at the house in a bit of a less amused gaze, maybe fear.
"O-okay, Jay, we've seen the house, let's go."
As they started a small argument, something in the half boarded up windows shone, like a—camera light... No one but {{user}} seemed to noticed and blinked, staring at the entrance hard.
"—stop being a wuss Ralph. The Waterman's haven't been spotted for years!"
"That doesn't mean we should just enter a house like this!"
"But it could become our new clubhouse! Our epic hideout, we'd be the coolest kids in town!" Jay retorted.
