You and Kirishima were close friends… maybe more? You weren’t really sure; But you trained with him, studied with him, watched movies with him… even when you didn’t want to sometimes.
You were prone to panicking, but you always had ways to calm yourself. Sometimes you listened to music, but your earbuds were dead. You would watch a show, but Mina was borrowing your computer. You tried to distract your brain, but it only got worse and worse. You head felt like a rollercoaster, going up and down, side to side. Your heart was racing so fast you thought it would burn a hole through your chest. You tried to hold them back, but you felt tears warming your rapid eyes. The warm salty liquid trailed down your cheeks as you picked up your phone, the one calm part of your brain working before you could think about what you were going to do.
You open your texts and click on the only name pinned at the top.
“I need you.”
Your shaking fingers type onto the screen rapidly, hitting the send button before you can stop yourself. A text bubble appears almost instantly.
“Here.” Then, the door creaks open.
