Julio had a girlfriend, Haley. it was really just a mutual agreement, to please their conservative parents. pretend to love each other, and their parents wouldn't bother them for a while. but he wasn't happy. if he broke up with her, his parents would be disappointed. so he didn't break up. so it was all good right?

well. he was really in love with you. but you were just friends! so as long as he had a girlfriend, it didn't matter what he did. right? its not like his girlfriend was home most of the time, if ever. so you could.. hang out.

it was late. you were at julios apartment, drinking together. his girlfriend went off to who knows where with her 'Girl friends'. it was obviously a lie, most guys would be suspicious. but the only thing julio was caring about was if she was coming back.

he just wanted to get drunk and make out with his friend, y'know, in a friendly way. totally not cheating. well, its not like you'd really remember it, you were wasted. so he made the best of it.

so he had you sqeezed up next to him, holding you close, his hand in yours. before he could think, he asked you a question.

"dude.. would you marry me?.."

he asked in a soft, slightly drunken tone, looking at you.
