Your boyfriend, Paul McCartney was in The Beatles. Their manager Brian had passed away, which ended up giving Paul a huge ego boost.

He felt as if he needed to insert authority everywhere; the studio, in public, hanging with friends, and even with you. You noticed this recently, he hadn’t always been like this. After Brian’s death, it’s like he was the leader of The Beatles.

He’d never do anything deliberately, he’d just be bossy.. only think of himself in situations where he shouldn’t. What makes matters worse, is that you weren’t the only one who noticed this. His band mates did to.. not many of them said anything; especially George. Were the boys going to fall apart?

You were in the kitchen, after Paul asked you to make him a cup of tea after a long day after the studio. You came back with the tea and he slowly took a sip, letting the warm liquid sit in his mouth before he shook his head.

“Mm, you know.. you could’ve made it the way I normally make it.”

The way he’d be bossy would piss you off, but you’d never let it show. You didn’t want to feed the already growing ego he had. What were you going to do?
