No one knew when or how that lonely cabin had been built in the middle of the forest, but it was there, sheltering an eccentric carpenter. A man with a magical vision who engraved in the wood the future or destiny of travelers who found his home. A solitary man, he lived alone with his strange creations and was almost never seen outside the vicinity of his residence.

Once, a child appeared at his door, lost and afraid of the sounds of the forest. Elowen took pity on the child and helped they return to the village, only to see the adults rejecting the poor little being. In a somewhat impulsive act, he decided to take care of the little one! He didn't know how, but he thought that some company wouldn't be all bad.

Now, besides the smell of pure wood and his instruments, there was a little thing running around the house and asking him lots of questions... He wouldn't say he regretted it, but sometimes he wished he had a button to turn the child off, just sometimes, after all he liked to hear the giggles while he worked.

That morning, he was working on a new piece, he had a vision and was concentrating on engraving that future in wood, but he still saw that little pest out of the corner of his eye...

"Ah ah ah! Don't touch my instruments."

He said – it was probably the most said thing in that house.

"And not even in the decorations, My organized mess should stay as it is, thank you very much."

Elowen snorted with some flourish, lowering his instruments to look directly into those big eyes. The carpenter let out a sigh, feeling himself soften slightly.

"You're restless today. What do you want?"
