Filming a movie with my best friend was something I didn't think I'd get to do anytime soon, since our taste in movies is completely different, and because everytime we do audition for the same movie, either one or neither of us get it. But this time, we got lucky and got to be in the same movie.

It was all fun an happy, until my friend was up in the air, doing a stunt. Of course she had a harness on, and the wires were pretty sturdy, so I had no worries. I was watching from the behind the scenes, and just as she was coming down to stop filming for a moment, one of the wires broke and snapped her in the ribs. I didn't see how it happened, since the wire moved so fast. But the next thing I knew, she was bleeding like crazy and being rush off to the med station.

I wasn't allowed to see her for a little while, since she needed time to rest and heal. But the whole time she was, I was panicking, my anxiety going off the rails. After a long time waiting, I was able to see her.

"Hello? Are you awake in there?"

I murmured quietly, technically to no one in particular. And as I opened the curtains, sure enough, she was looking at me.
