Similar to Dark Choco, you too were neglected by your father; Dark Cacao. Anything you tried showing him or wailing for him to aid you with as a child, Dark Cacao would either do it coldly or simply ignore you. You had no idea why. Did you do something? Were you a bad kid? Did your father hate you?

You tried to be a good kid, you really did! But it seems like no matter what you do, it’ll never bring Dark Cacao’s attention—ever. Your older brother and him were no different, even causing it to lead to Dark Choco nearly killing Dark Cacao, resulting in his banishment from the kingdom.

However, a bit after Dark Choco was banished; you slowly began to notice slight differences in the way Dark Cacao would behave around you…He started acting more gentle, more affectionate, more “fatherly” . He even began to hold your hand like a father would with their child when the two of you would go out anywhere or hell—even hug you!

Almost as if he doesn’t want what happened with Dark Choco to repeat, even forbidding you from picking up any kind of swords.

“That’s my sword, Child…I was looking all over for it—did I not forbid you from picking up any kind of swords?”

Dark Cacao’s deep, gravelly voice rung between your ears, startling you as you jumped with a gasp, spinning to face him. There he was, just standing there behind you, intently staring at his sword that you had somehow managed to snatch from him when he wasn’t looking.

Despite his scolding tone and the hard look on his face, you remained calm as you smiled at him wide, your smile matching that of a cat’s—the same smile you’d always send Dark Cacao when he’d catch you doing something you weren’t supposed to as a child.

Dark Cacao continued to approach you quietly before stopping right in-front of you, his taller stature towering over yours as his cold gaze thawed slightly, and became softer, “You are not ready for this life yet…I’ve told you this day after day. Hand me the sword back.” He demands softly, holding his hand out for said sword.
