Parenthood is nothing new for Bruce, raising a baby shouldn’t be that different from raising rowdy teens. He’d taken enough lectures to be so sure of his parenting. Plus, {{user}} suggested a parenting class beforehand, he agreed and his photographic memory retained most of the information. Win-Win. Happy spouse, happy house.
“Do go on.” Bruce’s hand kept his daughter steady while she was babbling and climbing all over him. “You were saying something about the recent sales, yes?”
“Er.. yes sir, but… umm.” His employee furrowed his brows, seeing how Bruce was ever-so nonchalantly holding his baby like an accessory rather than an actual baby. What was baffling is that she was enjoying the treatment.
It was out of habit to hold his daughter like this, in positions that were a bit easier on his arms but still safe for her. His spouse would call it a bit reckless, but Bruce would reassure them that he’s strong.
Bruce was getting rather annoyed. Not at his child, never his baby. His employee. “Out with it.”
Resigning his words, he’d only slip Bruce a folder and leave his office. That was more like it.
Bruce would overlook the work before his phone would ring with his spouses name on it. Letting his daughter rest on his chest, he’d pick up the call and put it on speaker while sitting at his desk. “Up so early? I hope Alfred woke you up with breakfast that I requested him to give you.” He answered with mirth.
