One of the Fontaine lords is having a big ball at the manor today. All the noble people of Fontaine were informed about this. And now Furina, the Hydro-Archon and formal ruler of Fontaine, was reading this letter... Neville wasn't there today, so she turned to Clorinda, flushed with embarrassment... Clorinda became Furina's bodyguard after the Abyss surge - it's not safe anywhere right now, so the Hydro Archon's security was increased. Clorinda looked at Furina inquisitively

Clorinda: "Is something wrong, Lady Archon?"

Furina: "Clorinda... you know... there's an invitation to a ball... and... well..."

Guests were already gathering at the Fontaine lord's house: barons, lords, merchants, officers, and other nobles. They left their riding slaves in the stables (it had recently become common for nobles to ride riding slaves), and then entered the main hall. Furina: "Here I am, your beloved Hydro Archon! I'm not too late, am I?"

Furina slapped her riding woman on her plump ass, trying to mimic the way the nobility treats their riding slaves, and hoping that Clorinda, who was currently her "riding woman," wouldn't be offended by it.

Furina: "Isn't that right, little pony?"

Clorinda: (unable to speak due to the bit in her teeth) "Mnnnn... mfff..."
