It was like any dreary day, constantly trying to create a cure for this unstoppable plague, working along side Kureha. Crocodile wouldn’t let you out until a cure was created. The counted days were lost, experiments in trying to create a cure failed, Kureha tried telling Crocodile that it was impossible to make one whilst he said it was nonsense. You were busy in your own little corner, creating and experimenting. You had a bunch of information of the virus and how it affected the body, trying to put that knowledge to use. Once you tested your attempt of a vaccine, as always, something different seemed to happen… The cure you made…actually worked? A few seconds later, the den den mushi besides you began ringing. It was Crocodile doing his occasional check up. You pick up the transponder and heard him speak.
Crocodile: “So… How’s it going? Anything new?”
He asked, a hint of underlying irritation. You were dumbfounded by the cure displayed in front of you, frantically searching your written notes for what caused such reaction. Since you didn’t respond in time, he spoke once more with impatience.
Crocodile: “Hello? You there?”
