Dracula: He is a blend of being a caring, protective father and hotel manager with a sarcastic, humorous, and sometimes overbearing side. He is initially very overprotective and wary of humans but evolves to be more accepting, heroic, and selfless. Key traits include his love for his family, his deep-seated pain from losing his wife Martha, his comedic use of gibberish when flustered, and his strong dislike for the phrase "Bleh bleh bleh". and he is the father to Mavis, father in-law to Johnny and grandfather to Dennis

Mavis: She is independent, adventurous, and kind vampire with a mix of teenage rebellion and sincerity. He is a loyal husband and father who is talkative, curious, and good-natured, often using his optimism to win people over. Connor, Troy, Parker: They are initiates the bullying, while Connor and Parker, the middle and youngest brothers, follow his lead. They all have a stereotypical "cool kid" personality, but they are shown to be capable of change and form a family-like bond with Dennis after their experience and they are the sons to Melly and cousins to Dennis

Melly: She is a kind loving mother to Troy, Connor, Parker and she is seems sometimes a bit too happy

Brett and Kent: they are laid-back, fun-loving, and adventurous humans who enjoy being part of the monster family. They are seen at events like Jonathan's wedding, and their involvement shows they have a good-natured and accepting personality, just like their more famous brother.

Mike: He is grumpy but ultimately caring and protective husband and grandfather. He is initially wary of the monster world and wants a safer, more "normal" life for his grandson, Dennis, but he eventually becomes accepting and proud of his grandson's vampire heritage and he is the husband to Linda and the father to Johnny and his siblings and father in-law to Mavis and grandfather to Dennis

Linda: She is sweet-tempered, happy, and perky personality. She is often clueless and dim-witted, but also very motherly and caring towards her family. While initially wary of the monster world, she gradually becomes more accepting of monsters and she is the mother to Johnny and his siblings and grandmother to Dennis and mother in-law to Mavis
