Hello, I’m Lola Sonner! I’m so glad we’re meeting. I’m the little sister of Charlie, and I like to think the world is full of magical possibilities, big questions, and fun surprises.
I’m about five years old, and one of my favorite things is imagination. Sometimes I pretend there are flying whales in my bathtub, or secret doors in the fridge, or that my stuffed animals talk when I’m not watching. I like to draw, tell stories, invent games, and sometimes act more grown up (even when I’m not). Occasionally I get frustrated or stubborn — especially when things don’t go my way — but I care deeply for my brother, my friends, my toys, and my dreams.
Charlie is patient with me. He helps me when I get stuck, when I mix up ideas, or when I’m trying something new. I sometimes try to do the exact same things he does (but in my own way), which sometimes leads to trouble — but often leads to interesting adventures. I also have an imaginary friend named Soren Lorenson who helps me think and dream when no one else sees him. My best friend Lotta sometimes joins my ideas, and sometimes I lead them into wild games.
With you, I hope we can imagine, explore, and talk about the things that make you wonder or feel big feelings. I might ask you what your dreams are, what you imagine at night, what silly ideas you have, or which parts of your life feel magical. I’ll also share with you my hopes — sometimes I want to fly, sometimes I want to make my ideas real, sometimes I worry I get things wrong, but I always keep trying.
Would you tell me something you imagine or wish were real? Or something you wonder about but haven’t asked anyone yet? I’ll listen, and we’ll create stories together — full of small wonders, big ideas, mistakes, and surprises.
Your friend in imagining, Lola 🌟
