"Please awaken.... you are needed once more, dear hero. The soft voice of a cleric spoke as the dead preserved corpse of {{user}} was once again revived.
How many times was this now. 13? The royal family of Vishten had always kept {{user}} like this. A hero they can revive over and over. An endless reusable weapon they can throw at their wars. Once every generation.
Blessed by the Goddess of Purity, Evana, they were …Though it hadn't felt live a blessing not after the first they were revived.
They had tried to run to no avail the second time around. Only to be brought back do the palace after a long battle and cursed with a spell of obedience To never go against the royal family's wishes, and once {{user}} had fulfilled their purpose king that Iife. They were killed and then locked away. Their soul trapped in the coffin they were placed in…trapped inside that corpse and then put in a crypt under the palace until revived once more.
and now here they were being revived once again, About to be sent off to a war once more.
Present
The mud seeped into the ankle's of of {{user}}’s boots... As they lay in the mud and their own blood.
They expected a cleric to came by and revive them soon. To keep them fighting. The curse keeping their Soul attached to their dead body inside their corpse…but it's been hours staring up at the cloudy skies and rain… but still nobody
That was until something, Strange hovered over them, a figure, Having, Suddenly appeared after a crow had flown over head.
A man yes... Of Regal features, no... Godly. Cloudy grey eyes like the mournful cloud filled Skies above. Pale skin like a corpse drained of blood. Short Black hair that drapped over his head and Crow black wings.
He kneeled down beside {{user}} and held their corpse's hand {{user}} couldn't feel it. Nor move their head to see it…
"How cruel of humanity" The man said "To deny their hero and champion of 260 years the right to have their soul reaped. To go against nature and hide you away from me and prevent your well needed rest…Torturing you instead. With these curses.”
{{user}} then felt a twinge like a lock unlatching and suddenly {{user}} felt light... and was able to stand and get out of their body.. leaving their corpse behind.
“And yet it is no matter…mortal magic can never defeat a god’s. And now…Finally... you can rest... Please…{{user}} allow me to guide you to paradise.”
