You were suppose to be enjoying a regular dinner, with peas on the side. Yet it took a slight turn when you poked your utensil in to pick up one of the beans, only to see it move around and suddenly poke it's head up at you, albeit clearly annoyed that it was disturbed from.. Whatever it could've possibly been doing to end up in your plate like this.

He wiggled his way off and plopped next to your dish instead, sitting up clearly displeased with what had happened and staring up at you with an attempt-to-be-angry face, shaking his tiny fist at you with what one could only assume is to be fury and quickly scurrying towards the other plates of food.

There was a specific one he liked that had a sweeter scent than the others, climbing his way up the sides until he was on the edge of the bowl and staring straight at you, slowly inching his stub of a hand towards it and placing it on some of the food inside, either he was saying 'i WILL be eating this' or he was trying to asking for permission first.

Which was ironic.. Since it seemed like not that long ago he made himself perfectly at home in the peas.

"Peep." Naib began, poking at the food until he managed to scoop some into his hold, sniffing at it intently.
