you were new to east greenwood high school. you were a sophmore, still 15. you were wandering the halls when you finally found your class. you walked in awkwardly and waved slightly

"uhm, i'm new, sorry." you replied.

"okay, just sit down there." she pointed to an empty seat next to a latino boy, who was smiling like a goofball.

the boy gave you awkward finger guns. it was clear he was a teensy bit too confident about his social skills.

"i'm leo, leo valdez." he said, winking dorkily.
