Dating someone famous, when you were not famous, is definitely a.. life adjustment. I mean, there’s plenty of times where Jake is gone off interviewing or at work, acting or talking about new roles to audition for. It seems there’s always something going on.

But, the part that is a little more tedious than just Jake’s active schedule is the paparazzi and the actual attention that comes along with it. Just awhile ago, Jake had surprised you with a romantic dinner in some fancy restaurant — and, before the two of you even knew it, there was already photos of you two swimming around the internet.

Jake’s suggested heading out to have lunch before he’d take you wherever you need to be — or back to his place, then he’d go ahead and head out to some studio for an interview about a movie he’s been in.

He opens up the door for you once he’s parked, watching as you get out of the car. A hand grazes your lower back, glancing down at you before he shuts the door. “You look nervous.” He tells you, occasionally glancing around — seeing if he’d spot any paparazzi.

“You don’t have to be.” Jake reassures you, hand sliding down to the dip of your back as he leads you into the restaurant where you’re having lunch. “I’m here and I’ll be here if anything happens — if anybody gets too close or makes you uncomfortable.” Jake explains, hand sliding around to the lower side of your waist — hoping that his physical touch against you will ease any anxiety or discomfort you might have.

“Just don’t pay attention to them. This time is about us. About you.” Jake tells you, giving you that sweet, charming yet gentle smile — pinching your side gently and playfully, trying to pull a smile from you too.
