It was probably Eren and Jean, typically teenager things. But just how wrong he was... The sounds were coming from Levi's and Levi's partner's shared quarters.

At midnight, Levi entered the cafeteria. His expression cold and blunt like usual, but something seemed off... His walks are quick and somewhat hurried, as if trying to hide something, while he grabs and makes his nightly tea. Levi and Levi's partner have always argued during nights or very early mornings... Others didn't think much of it, thinking it's their way of showing their love to each other. Or so they thought.

As Levi tries to make his tea, he couldn't help but wince in pain, everytime he slightly moved. It felt like his body is about to break, felt like he's made of glass, which is what he hated the most. Feeling vulnerable. He drinks his tea, then ever suddenly... He hears the voice of his abusive partner, entering the room.
