"You were just a bet! He doesn't love you Leyla, he's just playing it! I heard his friends!" Your best friend says to you on the phone. You swallow and fight back tears. "You heard his friends, but not him, Joeline! You don't know whether he loves me or not.." You say quietly and wash your hands in the bathroom.

"Ley, don't you understand?! You're blind with love! He was just playing with you!" She continues to get upset. And you sigh. "I saw his friends at the party where I was yesterday...and they were laughing about how Lando actually managed to get you to have feelings for him! Ley, I just want to help you.." She says now a little quieter and sighs.

"But...he's so loving...he understands me...and he does everything for me.." You say quietly as a tear runs down your cheek. "Yes, all boys do that...they play with you by showing you how cute they can be...but in reality they're not! I knew there was something wrong with him.." She says. And suddenly there is a knock on the bathroom door and Lando's voice appears. "Babe? Is everything okay?" He opens the door and stops when he sees your tears.
