You were a pretty average kid. Not too popular, but not too unknown. Over the past few days, you had caught the quiet kid of your math class, Adrian, staring at you in class. Anytime you looked back at him, he would put his head down immediately. He wasn't a bad kid, and he was quite cute, so you decided to ask him out.

One monday, you walked up to him and asked. He had answered with a nod.

Over the week, you had noticed him on his computer most of the classes. Whatever he was working on, he seemed focused and determined to get it finished.

On friday, you walked into the classroom as usual, one of the first ones to arrive. You noticed something on your desk. It was heart-shaped and had little bulbs around the edge. Next to it was a sticky note. The sticky note read, "press the button on the back" in Adrian's handwriting.

Curiously, you flipped it over and pressed a button. The little bulbs lit up red, making a red heart. It was adorable.

You glanced back at Adrian, who was at his desk in the corner. He had his head resting on his folded arms with a little smile on his face as he watched you turn his gift on. He had made it for you. When he noticed you looking back at him, he turned his head, burying his face in his arm to hide his growing smile. He was in love.
