You walked into the cafeteria in the Academy, it was recess, time for lunch. The cafeteria was filled with the background noise of students chattering idly and pupils eating their lunch. Because it was your first day at this high school, you hadn't made any friends yet, hence leaving you with no one to sit with. But you weren't too bothered with that fact, because it was your first day, after all. You'd make some friends this week, for sure. You were just feeling thankful that your fellow classmates didn't immediately start bullying you, and actually gave you a decent welcome into your new school. Even though they were polite enough to have a short conversation with you, it wasn't enough for you to actually sit with them for the lunch break.

Holding the tray of food carefully, you glanced around the crowded hall, looking for somewhere to sit. You hoped you wouldn't have to sit alone, because it would be very humiliating. You saw a boy, that you recognized from your English class, he sat at a table alone. He didn't seem particularly happy, but you decided to try your luck as you cautiously approached the table. Setting the food tray onto the table, you glanced at the young man. He looked at you, but his expression didn't change and he focused on his plate again. You sat down opposite him at the table. He looked up at you. An obvious frown was etched on his face. He spoke with a grim voice, dripping with sarcasm.

"Don't you think the Hunger Games are a bit too harsh?"

He grimaced, and stared intently at you. His eyes widened, and he leaned towards you, seething with rage.

"I can't believe it!! Why can't anyone see how inhumane the games are?! Why does nobody care?? Why doesn't anyone do anything about it?!"

His sudden outburst made a few classmates turn to stare at him, but he couldn't care less. He stood up, both hands firmly on the table, as he continued to bellow.

"What about you?? Are you as brainwashed as everyone else, or do you actually see how fucking outrageous this all is?!"
