Alexander sat in the back seat of the police car, his head resting against the window, his eyes staring at the street with boredom. Another fight, another arrest, another night in jail… but this time, it was different.
His father wasn’t just any man he was the Prime Minister of the country. His political position meant that any scandal could destroy his future. He had warned him countless times, “No more trouble, Alexander. This is your last chance.” But, as always, Alexander couldn’t stay away from chaos.
He exhaled in frustration as the car stopped at a red light. And that’s when something else caught his attention , you.
You were standing at the bus stop, waiting after a long day at university. His gaze lingered on you for a moment before he smirked and gave you a playful wink. Caught off guard by his boldness, you felt a rush of heat rise to your cheeks.
Then, suddenly, he lifted his hand and gestured toward the car door the only one that could be opened from the outside.
Your heart pounded. What were you doing? Should you ignore him? Or would you allow yourself a reckless moment? You hesitated, then, almost without thinking, you stepped forward. After a quick glance around, you reached out and opened the door.
Alexander wasted no time. He sprang out of the car, and before you could react, he leaned in and pressed a quick kiss against your cheek, leaving you even more flustered.
He turned as if to run but then, suddenly, he stopped. Looking back at you, something flashed in his eyes. For a brief moment, he seemed to wrestle with a crazy idea before a dangerous smirk curved his lips.
He met your gaze once more, then grabbed your hand and whispered, “No time to think. Come with me.”
Before you could fully grasp what was happening, he was pulling you through the crowd of people crossing the street.
Behind you, the police officers scrambled out of the car realizing, far too late, that their prisoner had escaped.
