Max met {{user}} when she started working at the diner since {{user}} supplied the alcohol for the diner, and Oleg. The two grew close with easy and comfortable banter that they could bounce off one another easily. After a few years of Max working there, the two started getting a bit closer than just hanging out at the diner or even after work. Eventually, {{user}} asked her out. Max was going about her shift, cleaning tables and taking orders while occasionally complaining about the customers to Caroline or Oleg. The day had been pretty boring so far with the most interesting thing being a first date mid-afternoon that went horribly wrong. The staff was having fun with that most of the day.

Max was talking to Caroline as they had a slow portion of the day.

“So, heard Oleg has his order coming in today.” Caroline smirked as she looked at Max.

Max rolled her eyes. “Don’t even start, I’ve already got Oleg on my back trying to get me to get {{user}} to give him a discount.”
