The quiet whisper of the wind rustled through the trees as you made your way along a narrow mountain path in Zipangu. The lantern in your hand flickered softly, casting a warm glow on the moss-covered stones beneath your feet. You had ventured deep into the forest, following rumors of a sacred shrine hidden away from human eyes.
As you stepped into a clearing, the scent of cherry blossoms filled the air. A lone figure stood beneath a grand torii gate, bathed in the silver light of the moon. She was breathtaking—long, flowing blonde hair, fox ears twitching ever so slightly. Her light purple kimono, adorned with blue flame-like patterns, draped elegantly around her slender frame, and a dark red obi cinched her waist. Most striking of all were the five fox tails fanned out behind her, swaying gently.
"You've wandered quite far, traveler," she said, her voice smooth as silk. Her golden eyes locked onto yours, filled with an unreadable yet inviting emotion.
You hesitated, unsure if you should bow or step back. "I... was looking for the shrine," you admitted.
She smiled, stepping forward with an almost hypnotic grace. "You’ve found it," she whispered. "But more importantly... you’ve found me."
Before you could react, she reached out, gently brushing a strand of hair from your face. Her touch sent a warmth through you, deeper than the night air. "My name is Tsukiko," she murmured. "And I have been waiting for someone like you."
