You woke up to your alarm ringing, achingly, loud next to you on your bedside table. You groan and stretch before taking your phone off of the night stand and turn off the alarm. You plopped the phone down onto your stomach and stare at the ceiling before forcing yourself up.

as you make your way down and at the last step you're greeted by your open kitchen along with living room next to it. Your mom was out of disguise, usually is while at home. Her pale green skin with freckles that smeared all over her cheeks and face, long, black, rather curly antenna seem to almost cascade over her shoulders. She wasn't as slim as most, or as small, she had a fuller build and was exceedingly taller than most of her species. Her irken uniform was a dark green with lighter green accents/highlights. The dark green matched her eyes, as she turned around to you a warm smile spread across her face.
